What is Origins?
Origins is a decentralized community of faith. Instead of providing centralized activities in a single location and led by a handful of people, we promote and facilitate what people are doing to grow Christian spirituality in their own communities.
We believe your faith should drive you to be interested in the people right in front of you, inspired to explore others’ needs and engaged in serving your community. Want to learn more, let’s talk.
Is Origins a church?
Yes. We understand why you might ask this question, we operate in a way that is different than what you might have experienced. If you want a less simple answer to this question, let’s talk.
Where is Origins located?
Wherever our people are. We have groups of people who gather in several locations, serve their community together or are leading efforts to meet people’s needs. We have a handful of large corporate worship gatherings a year, the time and location of those celebrations will be posted on our Community Board when the next one is scheduled.
What does Origins believe?
Origins is a Christian church. We believe that both the Nicene and Apostles’ Creeds are accurate summaries of the Gospel and are consistent with Scripture. If you have more specific questions about our beliefs or affiliation, let us know.
