Origins Community,
The past 12 years have been an incredible journey guided by this single conviction:
Your faith should drive you to be interested in the people right in front of you, inspired to explore others’ needs, and engaged in serving your community.
For so many of us, that conviction has driven us into deeper relationships with those in our lives and allowed us to be a tangible expression of the Kingdom of God.
For the past several months, the Elders and members of the Covenant Community have discussed the ongoing value of having a collective identity and
platform. While many of us are experiencing vibrant faith expressions locally, our overall participation in our collective platform has diminished – we’ve truly turned our attention to those in front of us, and by design.
After months of discussions, the Elders have voted unanimously to dissolve our non-profit organization. In the months leading up to the vote and during the vote, we enjoyed a bittersweet spirit. Origins Community – this way of living out our faith – has transformed our lives. It’s how we want to live. It’s how we will live. And we don’t need an organization to support it, facilitate it, or legitimize it.
So, What’s Next?
The Final Run of 52-Week Rhythms
April 19 – May 31, we’re going to highlight our community’s 7 favorite 52-Week Rhythms!
Between now and April 10, we’re asking all of you to respond with your 52-Week Rhythms. After we hear back from you, we’ll set up a final run of the top seven 52-Week Rhythms voted by all of you that will be announced the week of April 13.
